Boxing Day is the perfect time to get back to scrolling, and catch up on everything you may have missed if you weren’t busy documenting every second of your holiday the day before.
While you were exchanging gifts and munching on Christmas treats, your favourite famous faces were doing their own thing too. Some of them spent their vacay in front of the television while others were on whirlwind adventures on their own. As a little festive treat, here’s a roundup of what the stars did at Christmas.

For many celebs, Christmas is a family affair, and no one did it better than local actress Yvonne Lim’s family who went over the top Christmas crazy with festive sweaters – and even the kids joined in. 25 December also marks the birthday of Yvonne Lim’s four-year-old son A.J.
The pretty mummy who has been based in Taiwan since she got married to former member of Taiwanese boy band B.A.D, Alex Tien, in 2014 posted this snap of herself and her family all dressed up for the occasion: “Every year as we celebrate Xmas, we celebrate #happyAJ birthday too! And i am so not aware what is going on at the back while we are trying to take a family photo.”

In the midst of the joyous festivities, we also had a health scare as veteran actress Fann Wong was rushed to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital as soon as she touched down in Singapore.
Along with a picture of an IV drip on her arm, the actress who just made her return from Shanghai thanked the medical staff who attended to her and wished her family good health in her Instagram Post. In another post, Fann posted this snap of her husband and son and assured her fans that she is feeling better. Get well soon Fann!

Local celeb mum Kate Pang was dressed to impressed in her glittering bustier gown as she attended the inaugural StarHub Night of Stars event. Kate was the host of the star-studded award ceremony, together with Taiwanese Dennis Nieh and Lulu Huang.

Judging from her Instagram posts, it seems the Queen of Caldecott Hill hasn’t let the fake news saga get her down.
In the past week, there have been a slew of articles and social media posts claiming that the 50-year-old actress is retiring to pursue her childhood dream of running a skincare business.
The actress has since responded to such claims on her personal Instagram account and said that she enjoys her work and has no desire to retire. She also assured her followers that the news was fake.
Zoe who is currently in Japan on vacation took to the gram to post this photo and wish her fans a Merry Christmas. She will return to Singapore to film in January.

The local actress brought plenty of holiday cheer to her Instagram feed with a series of photos of her winter trip to Tokyo.
The multi-hyphenate has been up to a lot since leaving her long-time talent agency to become a free agent in October last year. The “Little Nyonya” star has been studying baking at the Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School and was even named ambassador to the Bangkok branch. She was recently in Japan to visit the Le Cordon Bleu branch in Takasaki, Tokyo.
She took to Instagram to extend Christmas wishes to her fans, she said: “Have yourself a merry little Christmas.” Fun fact: actress Fann Wong was amongst the 9,016 (and counting) Instagram users who liked Jeanette’s Instagram post.

The local celebrity hung out with her little one, Zavier, on Christmas. Jacelyn had the “happiest Christmas in 10 years” in sunny Bali.
“True happiness needs no expensive toys but two creative hearts fond of each other. Love conquers all. Be daring in love. If not, why do we even live?” she wrote on Instagram.

To some Christmas might be a time to watch Christmas movies on rerun and eat so much food, you could actually rupture something.
To local celebrity Jade Seah, however, Christmas is a time for reflection. In her candid Instagram post, Jade revealed that she wasn’t in mood for a Christmas tree because of “some upsetting news that happened within the family” and it was also her first Christmas without her granny.
She added that her husband eventually bought little tree and that even though, “it’s a little bittersweet this year, but trying to remember the reason for the season, and to just be thankful for everything else I’ve been blessed with.”
She ended her post and wishes her followers a happy and blessed Christmas. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

It seems like Japan is a popular Christmas getaway destination for celebrities. Local actress Joanne Peh opted for a simple gathering with her loved ones in Hokkaido this Christmas.
She captioned the snap and said: “Spent Christmas Eve just the way I imagined – without the frenzy and the frills, without the heaps of gifts and excess packaging, just Yuwu, the two kids and me bundled up and trooping through winter.”
