Rui En knows that she can count on Dennis Chew to have her back no matter what. Their friendship blossomed while filming the 2013 Channel 8 drama, The Dream Makers, where Dennis played Rui En’s older brother. They reprised their roles in the second instalment, which aired in 2015. Since 2013, their bond has only gotten stronger. In an interview with The New Paper, Dennis revealed that the duo has very good chemistry and they text each other every day and say things like “I love you”. The two are so close, they even took a trip together to New Zealand. The actress planned and paid for a five day, four night trip to New Zealand to celebrate the 43rd birthday of the radio deejay. The charismatic actress even made arrangements so that Dennis could look out at New Zealand’s most beautiful lake when he opened the windows in his hotel room. How thoughtful is that?
