We’re days away from the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea and to celebrate the occasion, the Games’ Official Timekeeper, OMEGA, has presented its own podium of watches – the Seamaster Olympic Games Gold Collection.

This year marks the Swiss watchmakers’ 86th year as the Official Timekeeper. Its journey began in 1932 and the brand has fulfilled its role ever since. It is set to do so until 2032 – meaning that it will be with the Games for at least a full 100 years.

To celebrate, three different kinds of gold have been used to create the timepieces of the collection – each representing the medals that winning top athletes are given after every competition. The three watches come in either 18K yellow gold, 18K Sedna gold, or 18K Canopus gold, which is an exclusive white gold known for its brilliance and longevity.

The watches are dressed with 18K gold hands (that resemble leaves) and indexes, that stand out against the eggshell white dial. It dons the iconic OMEGA logo and at 6 o’clock, the Seamaster wording.

The reverse side features an 18K gold ring that has all the host cities and dates from OMEGA’s Olympic Games journey engraved on it.

Each timepiece is driven by the Master Chronometer calibre 8807, so you can trust that the watch will stand the test of time. The timepieces can be purchased separately, with either a brown or black leather strap.
