Every year at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) watch fair in Geneva, a myriad of luxury watches from Swiss watchmakers are released. Joining the bandwagon alongside IWC Schaffhausen and Cartier are Hublot.

The Swiss luxury watchmaker weaves the Art of Fusion in its watches – and its 2018 Geneva Days collection is no different. At the SIHH, they released classic monochrome stunners and even lustful 60’s inspired watches (that we want too!)

The Art of Fusion: Big Bang Meca-10 Blue Ceramic

In an iconic indigo blue shade, the Big Bang Meca-10 combines cutting edge mechanics and ultra-resistant material. The watch has a 10-day power reserve, with mechanisms that show the user when it nears those 10 days.

Its case, bezel and folding clasp are made of high-tech ceramic – an extremely hard and solid, yet lightweight material that can withstand the tests of time. The watch’s textured rubber strap and see-through dial makes this timepiece a truly sophisticated one the modern woman needs.

Under the influence of the material that bonded the partnership with Ferrari: Big Bang Ferrari Magic Gold

Jumping straight into the showstopper – the case and bezel made of Magic Gold. Its tough and resistant nature comes from the patented alloy that is so hard that it can only be altered by a diamond. The timepiece maintains its sleek form with a strap made of black rubber, and topped with black alcantara sewn into it.

Of course, it displays Ferrari’s upholstery expertise in the red topstitching. The watch, limited to 250 pieces, has a 72-hour power reserve and is manufactured with the HUB1241 calibre.

Classic fusion: All ceramic

Three things make this watch an essential one – it has an all ceramic physique, a single or dual-tone finish, and is versatile in terms of its functions. Coming with either a blue sunray or opaque black dial, the timepiece offers either a chronograph or a three-hand date function.

You can also choose if you’d like a more petite 42mm diameter watch, or a larger faced 45mm.

No matter the style, the new Classic Fusion models guarantee one thing. And that is pure elegance.

Classic Fusion Chronograph Italia Independent

In a collaboration with Lapo Elkann, the stylish Hublot Classic is given a sporty twist with the addition of a chronograph movement. The watches have a power reserve of 42-hours and a sapphire crystal on the back – allowing a crystal clear view of its HUB 1143 calibre mechanism, and authentic Rubinacci fabric..

Lapo Elkann gives the watches a feminine touch with his choice of incorporating three Rubinacci fabrics that are 60’s and 70’s inspired. One sports a blue houndstooth pattern, another dons a blue fabric with an elegant pinstripe, while the last one boasts an 18K King Gold case and earthy tones of the Prince of Wales check. The first two editions are limited to 100 timepieces, while the last one has only 50 pieces available.

Hublot x Richard Orlinski: The first work of art which shows time

Photo: Hublot

Artist Richard Orlinski worked with the Swiss watchmakers to breathe life into the artist’s universe. It’s a sleek yet perky design that plays on angles and reflections, ridges and facets. The polished titanium appliques are sported on the crown, bezel, hands and push buttons.

The glass, made of sapphire crystal, houses a date function and a self-winding chronograph movement. The timepiece is available with either a polished titanium sculpture, or a blue ceramic one. The models come in a limited number of 200 pieces each.
