Victoria Beckham’s first fashion store will reportedly boast a glass floor and champagne bar.
The fashion designer is widely rumoured to be gearing up for a full-time return to the UK, following her soccer star husband’s departure from team LA Galaxy. The couple and their four children are already thought to be renting a home in the British capital and it’s been suggested Victoria has also made some business deals there too.
She has been open about her desire to open a store for a long time, thanks to the success of her fashion labels. It now seems the wheels are firmly in motion.
“Vic wants lots of glass, crystal and mirrors and is even considering having a glass floor. She wants the set-up to involve her clientele making appointments with fitters; there’ll even be a style bar where customers can consult with her team of designers for advice on outfits. And a champagne bar too,” an insider told Heat magazine.
The fashion star apparently got the idea for her new store’s decor after visiting the Prada establishment in Los Angeles, which also boasts a lot of glass.
Victoria is understood to have already found the perfect space for her shop, although it’s not known when renovation work will commence or when it will be open to the public.
“Opening her first store in London is a dream for Victoria. She’s already found a 9,000 square foot store in the heart of Knightsbridge and has been interviewing two top interior designers,” the source explained. – COVER MEDIA
