Singapore’s biggest fashion event will return in May 2015 with a revamped format that includes a tie up with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), a new name and top fashion brands on the runway.

Claiming the new name of Singapore Fashion Week (SFW), this year’s event aims to focus more on the internationalisation of Singapore designers, say organisers.

Top British designer Victoria Beckham has confirmed that she will be closing the event with her Autumn-Winter collection.

Victoria Beckham was previously in Singapore last May to present a personal selection of her Spring Summer 2014, Pre-Autumn-Winter collection 2014 and ICON collections at the ArtScience Museum, Marina Bay Sands.

In another exciting coup, marquee name Cate Blanchett, the porcelain-skinned face of SK-II, has also been tapped to make an appearance at the show. How cool is that!

Last month, Diane von Furstenberg, iconic designer and President of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), also confirmed that she will be opening the event with her Autumn-Winter 2015 collection.

Singapore Fashion Week will be on from May 13 to May 17, 2015.
