It seems as though designers can’t keep summer beach vibes off their minds, as countless surf-inspired pieces were seen riding the waves of the runways for the S/S ‘19 presentations. Swimwear and wetsuits were worn under polished blazer jackets and coats at Iceberg, Sportmax and Etro. Psychedelic tie-dye bled onto everything from nylon dresses at Prada, floaty dresses at Dior, and sweaters at Prabal Gurung. And as far as literal conceptions go, Calvin Klein delivered a doff to the classic Jaws franchise with movie posters plastered on tank tops and wetsuit skirts that peeled down to reveal the former.
