It started out with an idea to have shoppers see a projected video off the runways. Then came in the idea to actually put them in fashion shows. And of course, why not add in a robot, right?
Fusing technology with fashion, Paragon’s newest visual merchandising campaign aims to elevate your shopping journey by bringing fashion right to you – with the help of state-of-the-art technology like robotic arms, and Virtual Reality goggles.
Zagna Heng, the Head of Marketing and Communications at Paragon tells us that they’re hoping to bring buzz and excitement to Singapore’s retail scene with their newest campaign.
“We’re always thinking about a unique and differentiated way to ‘wow’ shoppers, we had always wanted to marry technology with fashion.”
And marry they did.
Up, up and away
The first feature is a robotic arm that lifts products up and gives it a spin – literally! Weekly, products from different brands will be showcased. This week is Moschino’s Fall/ Winter ‘17 collection.
The robotic arm, which is on loan from Weltron Equipment, spins each product around for about a minute, giving them the ‘glass slipper’ effect.
Besides Moschino’s Fall/ Winter ’17 collection, the Moschino x My Little Pony capsule collection will be on display too! Calling all MLP fans!
This special installation will be on for three weeks.
Real fashion shows!
Shoppers will also get to watch fashion shows – virtual reality style.
With music playing in the background, and you’ve the freedom to walk around and explore, and get up-close-and-personal with models. The experience is unlike seeing mannequins at store fronts. Head down to Paragon to see for yourself!
