The best way to describe fashion now would be that it’s like shopping in a supermarket. You take a little bit of this, a little bit of that and then you check out – figuratively and literally. Instead of fighting it, we’re embracing the designers who’re producing the most outre of things this season.

Pictured above are Gucci’s rubber totes which reminded us of what we shot them to be  –  a bucket for your beer.

Gomma rubber totes, $1,380, Gucci.

Both sandals remind us of DIY projects – Marc Jacobs is a deconstructed sneaker whilst Roger Vivier’s is a Tevas sandal that met a glue gun.

PU leather and rubber sandals, $510, Marc Jacobs. Technical fabric with strass embellishments, $1,440, Roger Vivier.

Pop art cartoon heads, monkeys and crystal charms for Prada’s latest necklaces. And, all of them are removable.

From left to right: Metal chain necklace with acrylic charms, $1,730, $2,180, $1,730 Prada.

Miu Miu’s sweetest jewellery looks like costume jewellery from the ‘50s. And that’s the fun part about them.

From top: Brass brooch with plexiglass and crystals, $760, brass bracelet with embellishments, $820, brass brooch with plexiglass and embellishments, $820, Miu Miu.
