Love to inject some brilliant colours in your outfit but fear that it might be overkill? One option to keep colour under control is to don on accessory, like a new watch, bearing bright summer tones to add a bit of life and zest into an otherwise monotonous outfit.

Summer 2013 has seen many watch brands boldly incorporating loud colours into their summer watch collections. Some watch designs scream with their unconventional use of eye-catching tones, such as Dior in its fluorescent-strap La Mini D De Dior watch series, or Nixon with their funky Dip-Dye and Violet watches.
For those who are not so adventurous, or are more inclined towards a minimalistic style, many watch brands have also kept their designs simple to highlight a single tone of bright colour or dual complementing tones.

Common shades include turquoise blue, lemon yellow, and warm orange, as can be seen in Swatch’s Summer 2013 Chrono watches, Armani Exchange’s Colour Flash watches, and Fossil’s summer watch collection. These watch designs are typically meant to fit your casual wear, and can be flexibly worn for every occasion.

Finally, we also see a special focus on feminine tones of rosy pink, crimson red and violet, like in Esprit’s Marin Lucent and Marin Glint watch series, and also in the limited edition Louis Vuitton Tambour Disc watch in Rose Indien pink. These can be paired with an elegant evening dress for those glamorous parties or ballroom events.
