Tory Burch is keen to open another store in Washington D.C.

The fashion designer launched her first shop in the area in May. It’s at an upscale mall and she’s now admitted she is considering opening a new space in the American capital city.

Tory was speaking at a charity event, when she explained she always feels at home when she is in the Georgetown neighbourhood.

“I have spent a lot of time here and gotten to really love D.C. It has everything — politics, art and fashion,” WWD quotes her as saying.

The designer was quick to admit she hasn’t found a place in the area yet, nor has she really been looking.

However, at some point in the future she hopes to create a store selling accessorises in Georgetown.

Tory also discussed other areas of expansion. She recently opened a shop in Dubai and a version in Beirut will open its doors in June 2012.

The designer has already organised to go and spend time in both locations.

She added the next year will see 18 more Tory Burch stores launch, with the designer already having 60 up and running. © COVER MEDIA
