All-American brand Tommy Hilfiger has introduced its new TOMMY JEANS Capsule Collection for Summer 2018. Boasting of denim essentials fit for the cool kids — we’re talking dungaree dresses, loose-fit cropped jeans and jean jackets, the collection injects a contemporary pop twist into the brand’s sailing heritage through bold neon yellow colors and colour blocking details.

Iconic women’s pieces from the collection include a white hooded sailing jacket sprinkled with a newly reimagined logo in a modern triangular nautical flag design, neon yellow sweaters, loose-fit chinos, and denim jackets in bright red and blue. The collection does not fall short in the accessories department as well, featuring on-trend belt bags and bucket hats for the street style enthusiasts.

The capsule also includes the Icon shoe, bringing back the brand’s original 1997 ‘Fly’ sneaker found in its archives.

The campaign for the collection stars multiple up-and-coming artists on the rise to popularity, including that of Jelani Blackman and IAMDDB, singers Paloma Ford and Salma Slims, and models and influencers T-Bone and Rei.

Perfect for casual weekends and even for travelling (eyes on the sweaters and jackets which would be hard to pull off in Singapore’s heat), the items from the collection are essentially staples that will never go out of style. The ever-timeless denim is, after all, at the core of the collection, so it’s safe to say that we’ll still be busting out these versatile pieces for years to come.
