“This holiday we wanted to really surprise our customers in a whole new way by showcasing the most awe-inspiring objects and experiences that you can only find at Tiffany,” said Reed Krakoff, chief artistic officer of Tiffany & Co. And surprised we are.
With its one-of-a-kind gifts, Tiffany is reinventing luxury gifting with objects and experiences that not only represent its 182-year long history of artistry and craftsmanship, but also create memorable moments for the recipient. Here are eight of them we have on our wishlist.
Introduced in 1969, Return To Tiffany is one of Tiffany’s most iconic designs. It’s been deconstructed and reimagined to form the Love Bugs collection, a flora-and-fauna-inspired line that is modern yet playful. This mixed metal (sterling silver and 18K gold) daisy pendant is great for nature lovers, and those who appreciate a twist on the classics.
Tiffany HardWear is all about capturing the subversive spirit of the women of New York City. In this new iteration, sterling silver links are paired with lustrous pearls in this lock bracelet design for a fierce yet feminine look. It’s perfect for the effortlessly cool woman who enjoys layering her statement jewellery and wearing it with a crisp white shirt.
Now featuring unique stones in bright hues, such as pink opal, turquoise, black onyx, mother-of-pearl and tiger’s eye, the Tiffany T collection continues to appeal to the bold, confident woman with its clean lines and graphic angles. For this turquoise circle pendant, the subtle differences of the naturally formed stone ensures that every piece is unique, just like the wearer.
Constantly drawing inspiration from wildlife, Tiffany celebrated its appreciation for the natural world by creating the Tiffany Save The Wild collection in 2017 – it channels 100 per cent of profits to the Wildlife Conservation Network. The initiative has garnered over $5 million since. Featuring 18K white, rose and yellow gold and pave diamonds brooches in the shape of an elephant, rhino and lion, this is the gift that keeps giving.
Fashioned from rift-sawn American oak with a professional-grade Tiffany Blue felt bed, this handcrafted Tiffany Blue Blatt Billiards pool table even has a sterling silver plaque that can be engraved with a message of your choice. The table comes with four maple cue sticks, a white oak pool triangle, a set of Tiffany Blue pool balls, and a sterling silver chalk holder with Tiffany Blue chalk. Looks like your post-Christmas dinner activities are settled.
For those who love animals and adventure, Tiffany is offering an 11-day safari itinerary to Kenya for two. There, you can watch elephants in their natural habitat at the Samburu Reserve, and spend time with lions and rhinos in the lush Maasai Mara National Reserve. The gift also includes a full set of Tiffany x Globe-Trotter luggage and luxurious Tiffany travel accessories. As with the brooches, a portion of the proceeds will also benefit the Wildlife Conservation Network.
Having green fingers isn’t always about getting dirty – Tiffany shows you how to make it pretty. It took four craftsmen more than 1,000 hours over the course of nine months to engineer the sterling silver Tiffany greenhouse, which measures 51cm wide, 66cm long and 43cm high. This purchase also includes a monthly floral arrangement delivery for a year, and comes with a selection of Tiffany gardening accessories. We think this calls for a Christmas garden party.
A magnificent round brilliant D colour, internally flawless diamond of over 8 carats is pretty perfect. But that purchase is elevated with a personal consultation with Krakoff in New York City to design a one-of-a-kind ring. Yes, the sketch-to-blue-box process will actually include the nuts and bolts: from ideation to design, and then the collaboration with Tiffany’s jewellers. If this isn’t the ultimate bespoke experience, we don’t know what is.
