As a digital strategist, Jeneen Goh spends most of her day helping brands get the attention they deserve. But the spotlight is now on her. She shares with us her go-to pieces and brands, as well as the things worth spending on.

1. How would you describe what you wear to work in five words?

Sleek, modern, effortless, comfortable and versatile. I like to play with silhouettes and mix feminine styles with masculine elements. If I’m wearing an oversized blazer or wide-legged pants, I’ll balance it out by pairing these items with more fitted pieces.

2. What considerations do you have when you decide what to wear to work?

My outfit choice would be solely dependent on my schedule for the day. If I’m meeting a new client for the first time or have a pitch meeting, I’ll put on a blazer and heels. If I’m going for a shoot, I’ll wear something more comfortable that allows room for movement.

3. How has your style evolved over the years?

My style has evolved to one that is more polished and professional-looking. The years of experimenting with fashion has allowed me to know what works best for me and my body type. These days, the first thing that I pay attention to is the cutting of an item. I only reach for well-cut items that flatter my silhouette, such as bottoms with a high waist to elongate my body, well-structured tops, and pieces with longer lengths.

4. What are your three go-to pieces?

A pair of Chanel sling-back pumps – they’re super comfortable and go with almost everything.

A statement bag to complete the outfit. I’ve been reaching for Chanel Gabrielle a lot lately.

A pair of tailored pants – I get my pants done at an old-school tailor located at Seah Im Food Centre.

5. Where do you shop?

I almost only shop online for clothes. My two favourite online stores are The Birdcage Boutique for Australian labels and 11AM for styles from Korea.

Some of my favourite brands for shoes and bags are Chanel, Dior, Hermes, Saint Laurent, and (old) Celine.

6. What are your must-have brands?

For statement clothes, I like Self Portrait.

For workwear, I like Sandro, Maje, Australian labels such as C/MEO Collective, Finders Keepers, and Korean labels such as Jain Song, Maison Loeuvre for their unique cuts and styles.

For staples and off-duty styles, I like Frankie Shop, And Other Stories, and Zara.

My current favourite brands for bags and shoes are Chanel, Dior, and Hermes.

7. What do you spend your money on?

Aside from fashion, I spend most of my money on travelling and investing. Visiting different places and experiencing different cultures broadens my mind and reminds me that there’s so much more to experience in this world. My favourite thing to do when I travel is to visit art museums – it refreshes and inspires me.

I invest because I’m just trying to make my money work harder for me – this is so that I can shop, travel more, and retire earlier!

8. What is your biggest splurge?

I don’t splurge much on material goods. My most expensive fashion items would be my watches – I have a Rolex and a Hublot. I’d much rather spend on experiences because they make me happier, and the memories formed are so much more precious. Last year, I splurged on a safari experience in South Africa, and it was magical and unforgettable.

9. What do you pack for a business trip?

I generally pack versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched for different looks. Some must-haves include a blazer that I can wear with jeans or pants, a pair of wide-legged tailored pants that can be worn with a shirt and heels for a business-appropriate look, or paired with a tee and sneakers for a casual style, and comfortable heels like the Chanel pumps, plus earrings to complete the look.

10.  What’s your trick to looking sharp and professional in a work/formal environment?

Well-fitted clothes with sharp tailoring that don’t crinkle easily, and wearing a style that is authentic to me so that I feel comfortable and confident.

11.  Any celebrities you look to for style inspiration?

I’ve always loved Audrey Hepburn for her timeless and elegant style. I also admire her self-confidence and how she aged so gracefully. She was even more beautiful as she grew older and showed us that we shouldn’t be concerned about the lines on our faces because there’s more to life than to be concerned about wrinkles.

I’m also always inspired by the women around me – my girlfriends, team, clients. Some are working professionals, some working mums, and others are entrepreneurs. All of them are working hard to get themselves to where they want in life, and it’s so inspiring to see them achieving all that, while still looking stylish at the same time!

12.  What’s on your wishlist?

The Chanel Coco Crush Ring and the Dior Lady D-Lite Embroidered Cannage Bag.
