Jewellery Bar

Diamonds for desserts? Yes you can. When you enter Lee Hwa’s newest jewellery store at Suntec City, you might mistake it for a cafe as a dessert bar greets you.

But at that dessert bar, you will find jewellery showcased like sweet treats.

Indeed, you might find this new shopping experience at Lee Hwa’s Jewelspace a sweet one as the local jeweller seeks to redefine your jewellery shopping experience with its latest retail endeavour that has never been done before.

“We want our customers to create unforgettable memories from the moment they step in and walk away knowing that jewellery shopping can be a fun and memorable experience,” said Mavis Toh, business director of Lee Hwa Jewellery, of the brand’s new retail concept.

Here are four highlights of the new store that will make jewellery shopping more enjoyable and totally Instagram-worthy.

The first highlight is the jewellery bar made with Destinée blue tiles and lined with blush pink and gold high stools. An informal environment is created with the cafe-like setting presents an array of diamond rings and necklaces in a dessert counter design.

Moreover, the displays showcase yellow and pink solitaire rings from the various brands within the Lee Hwa family.

The second highlight is an impressive wall of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings in the form of vertical display - also a first of its kind.

Arranged thematically by brands that include Lee Hwa Romance, Destinée, Forevermark and Purple Gold, these vertical glass displays break away from the traditional countertop method of displaying jewellery. Forget bending over, now admire your bling with the comfort of viewing at eye level.

The third feature is playpods dubbed “Playspace”. Playpods are installations that were created to capture the envy of your Instagram followers with what Lee Hwa has termed as “Instagrammable-simulated environments”.

There are three playpods and two of them are permanent. Titled Infinity Space and Spotlight, the former (pictured above) mimics a mirror-like effect while the latter uses a single light beam to create a spotlight focus.

The #Jewelspace Workshop

The final highlight - the #Jewelspace workshop - is for shoppers who want to learn more the art and science of jewellery making. Created as a site for possible future collaborative workshops with other jewellery designers, there are plans for future jewellery appreciation classes.

Not only that, you can also customise your rings and wedding bands at the workshop. For example, you can choose from 12 different colours of gold with Niessing and create your own signature piece with Lee Hwa’s My Personal Designer service, where a jewellery designer will meet with you to make your creation a reality.

Seeing is believing, so head down to Lee Hwa’s Jewelspace at Suntec City, 3 Temasek Boulevard, #01-317/318.
