It seems like the spotty fever that took the fashion world by storm in July this year is far from over. For those of us who find the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collaboration somewhat too pricey but still wish to own something Kusama, all hope is not lost.

Yayoi Kusama collaborates with Wacoal for dotty lingerie line

Enter Wacoal. The Japanese lingerie brand recently unveiled a collaboration with Yayoi Kusama called Fun Fun Week. The cute name says it all; the lingerie collection consists of lingerie sets adorned with Kusama’s signature motifs – think rainbow butterflies, the yellow-and-black pumpkin spot print and more.

In line with the youthful, free-spirited vibe the Fun Fun Week collection is channelling, all the bras come non-wired for comfort but has a padded front and power panel band that gives the bust shape and also holds in excess fat at the sides of the body.

The limited edition range comes in four matching bra-and-boyshorts designs with the bra going for $74.90 and the boyshorts at $37.50 (with GST).

We can’t be more delighted with this quirky collection that lets us join in the Kusama craze, and at such a pocket-friendly price too.

The Fun Fun Week collection is available only at Isetan Scotts and the Wacoal Ion boutique.
