Heatwave shoes new pump review THUMBNAIL

Pumps are a staple in any closet and the updated version of Singapore shoe brand Heatwave’s new pumps go great with any outfit. As pumps do, they elongate your legs nicely thanks to the addition of a mini-platform. Though simple, the design is classic.

Unlike flimsy thin heels, these heels are broad and sturdy. Though the heel measures 4.5 inches, the 1 inch platform in the front eases your weight on your arch, making it more comfortable to walk in so you also last longer in them.

I found that because of the particular material used for the insole, it provided more grip for my foot so my toes did not feel crushed and my feet didn’t constantly slip forward. The ridges on the exterior soles also make the shoes non-slip so you’ll have more grip while you walk.

All in all, the new Heatwave pump is a fab little classic to have in your wardrobe. They come in heaps of colours and although made of man-made materials there was no “sweaty” feet or bad smell after wearing them. This is great for the vegans out there since many PVC shoes are horribly sweaty in humid Singapore.

The new pump from Heatwave will officially be available from mid May and will only cost $45.90; how good is that? It will also come in a wide range of colours including magenta, royal blue, tan, burnt orange and turquoise.
