Retail therapy takes on a whole new level of ‘happy’ when brands support charitable causes.

Twice a year since 2009, Italian luxury brand Tod’s has been organising a charity shopping weekend as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility drive.

This week, Friday (19 Oct) to Sunday (21 Oct), Tod’s is extending a 10% discount storewide at their three boutiques in Singapore – Paragon, Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya.

While we do not need another reason to shop at Tod’s, part of the proceeds from this weekend initiative will be donated to the Dedicated AIDS/HIV Women Needs (DAWN) – a programme under Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Fund. DAWN supports women and families who are living with AIDS/HIV, and provides them with rehabilitation programmes, support groups and medication, amongst other acts of help.

So mark your calendars and do a part in this worthy cause. And if you need some shopping inspiration, here are some of our favourite picks from the brand.
