Duchess Kate’s hawk-eyed fans do have fast fingers — her Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) wrap dress has sold out speedily everywhere online on the morning of April 17, 2014, shortly after the royal was seen in it during her Blue Mountains visit in Sydney, Australia.
Pictured above with her husband the Duke of Cambridge, the Duchess picked the comfortable and almost universally flattering style to wear to see the great Aussie outdoors.
The signature DVF style seen on the Duchess featured a batik print that’s easy on the eye; certainly a change from the canary yellow Roksanda Ilincic dress that she wore for the family’s Sydney arrival.
Unfortunately, this style is not currently carried in Singapore stores either. But if you’re still so in love with her style, look to a longer maxi-dress variant, which is still available online for US$595 (approximately S$743).
Doubtlessly many admirers of the duchess continue to celebrate “what Kate wore”. Yet it turns out that her husband is not always as appreciative.

While speaking to the well-wishers in the crowd yesterday, the Duchess confessed that “William said I look like a banana”; quite self-deprecatingly, even as she wowed the crowd with said yellow Roksanda Ilincic dress.
