This brand new shopping centre Scotts Square will be located right between Grand Hyatt and Marriott hotel, or where the old Scotts Shopping Centre used to be and will comprise of four floors of shopping heaven.

One of the most anticipated retailers opening at Scotts Square will be celebrity label Michael Kors, for it will be the first stand-alone boutique in Singapore. The store, which will be occupying prime street-front space will carry ready to wear and accessories from the main Michael Kors line as well as the lower priced MICHAEL Michael Kors line.

French designer Anne Fontaine, known for creating her classic white shirts for women, will set up her first Asian flagship store in Scotts Square as well, and will stock the full Anne Fontaine line, along with “Precious Line”, the brands range of limited edition merchandise.

Aside from these luxury brand offerings, shoppers can look forwards to French label Hermès and multi-label accessories brand, On Pedder, which promises to offer an even wider variety of “It” brands like Alexander Wang, Pierre Hardy and Nicholas Kirkwood.

Those who appreciate watches, technology or furniture won’t be left out as well, as they can look forward to the opening of the flagship store of Sincere Fine Watches, the Italian designer furnishing store Poltrona Frau and a more upmarket EpiCentre; the only outlet in Singapore to carry their Ed Hardy and Swarovski accessories.

For a bite in between all that shopping, customers can head to the popular all-day breakfast diner, Wild Honey, which will be opening their second restaurant there.

But if Western cuisine doesn’t strike your fancy, opt for a spot of midday dim sum, Hong Kong-style at Crystal Jade Kitchen Restaurant.

Over 90 per cent of the mall’s retail space has been taken up, with some other tenants being Fairprice Finest and Guardian Health and Beauty, mostly to cater to the residents living in the two residential towers above.

With more retail spaces for us all to indulge at, shopping will now truly be a uniquely Singaporean past-time.
