American designer Ralph Lauren has committed both himself and his company to fighting breast cancer for the last 20 odd years. His worldwide initiative Pink Pony was launched in 2000 and saw models close the catwalk show with shirts emblazoned with the now-familiar Pink Pony. At the same time, the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention was established. This hospital-based cancer treatment facility provides education, screening and diagnostic services for breast and other cancers in Harlem, New York City.

This October marks another Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Pink Pony collection will be available at the Marina Bay Sands Ralph Lauren boutique. 25 percent of the sale of Pink Pony products will go to programs dedicated to reducing disparities in cancer treatment and increasing access to quality care – in Singapore that’s the Breast Cancer Foundation.

If you’ve had your eye on the gorgeous Ricky Bag, now is the perfect time to snag one! 50 percent of proceeds from the sale of the Pink Pony Soft Ricky Bag in October 2013 will also go to the Breast Cancer Foundation in Singapore. Shopping for a good cause? Now that’s an awesome deal!
