Tis’ the season for change (and shopping)! In lieu of Robinson’s latest revamp, new brands from various regions will be introduced in store – expect a healthy mix of Western modernity and Eastern sensibilities. With such diverse choice, we’ve a sneaky premonition shopaholics will be scrambling to make space in their wardrobes for the latest spoils.

With many new brands on board at Robinsons this season, narrowing it down to my five brands of choice was not an easy feat but somehow, I’ve managed to. Get ready to check out the new labels you will be wearing this Autumn Winter 2014.

Worn by the likes of supermodels Miranda Kerr and Alessandra Ambriossio, Equipment is known for its luxe fabrics and androgynous silhouettes. Exuding discreet sexiness, these pieces drape oh-so-effortlessly over our frames. Wear Equipment’s signature silk blouse paired with the brand’s flowy harem trousers to complete that off-duty-model-fresh-off-the-runway look.

Nostalgic for the 90’s? Bring it back with Greyhound! Pin-striped suits and masculine looks mixed with an ounce of irony from Barbara Kruger (the feminist post-modern artist who coined my life’s motto – “I shop therefore I am”) are the trend for Greyhound’s Autumn Winter 2014 collection. Keep your look contemporary in one of Greyhound’s get-ups.

Straight from Paris comes jewellery brand Metal Pointu’s. Translating to “edgy metal” in French, Metal Pointu’s takes classic styles and injects a twist. The outcome? Accessories that are edgy and minimalistic. Adorn your neck with its chunky necklaces or stack its brassy rings to cop that Parisian-chic look.

Boasting a range of styles, Castañer has a pair of its signature espadrilles for your every whim and occasion. Teetering in heels proving a challenge? Give your feet an off-day with Castañer and opt for a pair of its flat espadrilles featuring a wrap-around ankle strap for a more feminine look. Going for something dressier? Castañer’s espadrille wedges are your answer – if they were good enough for Yves Saint Laurent himself, they should be good enough for you too!

The right arm candy serves as the perfect accessory to any outfit. Hailing from London, Amishi produces luxe bags and dazzling jewellery. Dashing from the office to a cocktail event, Amishi’s bejewelled clutch, which I’m currently lusting after, would be my arm candy of choice. For a girls night out, ooze glamour and accessorise with some of Amishi’s bling.
