Singapore label Marilyn Tan Jewellery has become the first local jewellery brand to be picked up by British designer brand Paul Smith.
Pieces from Ms Tan’s Lone Tree collection and the Galaxy collection will be stocked at the Westbourne House store at 122 Kensington Park Road in London and the Willoughby House store at 20 Low Pavement in Nottingham.
The collections feature gold, rhodium and bronze rings and earrings made of multi-coloured dreusy agate. Prices range from $380 for a pair of earrings to $850 for a ring.
“I am so happy to be the first Singaporean jewellery brand – trained in Singapore and designed in Singapore – to be stocked at the Paul Smith stores in the UK,” says the jewellery designer in an e-mail message. She has been designing for her eponymous label for more than 20 years.
