If ever a fashion label needed a re-look at its name, Singapore’s Depression is one of them. Season after season the home-grown fashion brand has been defying its name to bring us cute, cheery styles and for Spring Summer 2012 it’s done it again.

Designers Kenny Lim and Andrew Loh have created a super-cute and cheerful bunch of designs for their latest T-Shirts by Depression collection featuring everything from a super-fluffy sheep print (pictured above) to sailing boats, a fish in a jar and even a rabbit popping out of a top hat (pictured below).

According to Kenny and Andrew, they wanted to present “a more cheerful option after our moody AW2011 ‘Birth Defects’ collection”. Fair enough; these designs certainly do that.

The unisex tees were launched at the brand’s official opening of its new flagship store in Cineleisure on December 17, where they were snapped up by avid Singapore fans of the brand.

Depression has been going from strength to strength over the last couple of seasons – their first range of accessories launched for AW2011 was a runaway success – and their recent expansion into a larger outlet shows that fashionistas’ wallets are following the critical success.

After all the cheery prints on the tees I can’t wait to see what Kenny and Andrew have been working on for their full Spring Summer 2012 collection. More cute concepts fellas?

Depression is located at at Millenia Walk Parco, #P2-21 and its new flagship store is at Cineleisure Orchard, #03-05A. The Spring Summer 2012 T-Shirts by Depression collection is now available and cost $49, $59 and $69 depending on the design. For more information about the brand, go to: www.depression.com.sg.
