As the truly stylish would know, you don’t have to be dripping in luxury designer labels to dress well. Plus, you don’t want to be wearing what practically every other person on the street is wearing. If those are your top style rules, you should definitely check out new multi-label store Manifesto, now open at Capitol Piazza.

Founded by French fashion designer Walid Zaazaa (he’s now based in Singapore), the 2,500 square feet store carries over 60 international and indie designer brands, with over 40 of these largely European brands made exclusive to Manifesto in Singapore. In short, you’re unlikely to find over 70 per cent of what’s in store at Manifesto anywhere else locally.
Lemaire at Manifesto
Top fashion finds include French menswear and womenswear label Lemaire (yes, that eponymous brand by the former Hermes creative director), New York label Opening Ceremony, Amsterdam-based brand Avelon, as well as cult labels the likes of Japanese label Gillet and Parisian menswear label U-NI-TY.
