Singapore jewellery designer Marilyn Tan is always coming up with new concepts and ideas for her collections, each one as interesting and wearable as the last.
With the Lotus Collection Marilyn has teamed up with Thai jewellery designer Yupa Promworn to create a range of jewellery that despite having two originators manages to represent a united idea – the many faces of “woman”.

Inspired by the flower of the same name, the Lotus Collection is imbued with the “serenity of the flower and the delicate hues of freshwater pearls” according to the designers.
Marilyn’s relationship with Yupa and the decision to created the joint collection came from the two artists’ shared passions for craft, design and unique semi-precious stones – oh, and numerous cups of tea and meals.
Made of brass with four different finishes, the Lotus Collection features a variety of freshwater pearls in both natural baraque and vermeil shapes, in simple geometric or organic settings.
Prices range from $190 for a pair of natural baraque freshwater pearl earrings, to $495 for the Lotus Pearl ring. Pieces of the Lotus Collection are available from Doorstep Luxury, the Singapore-based cult accessories and jewellery online store, and the other stores that carry the brand.
