Still regretting missing out on that awesome crocodile-print dress from the Christopher Kane for Topshop collection back in 2009?

While that dress is not likely to make its way back onto shelves anytime soon, maybe the pain of losing out on that will get you to make sure you get your hands on Topshop’s latest designer collaboration – the J.W. Anderson for Topshop collection.

Launched to sell-out success in London during London Fashion Week, the collection will finally make its way to Singapore, and will be available in stores this Sunday, September 30.

J.W. Anderson, or Jonathan William Anderson, is considered one of Britain’s rising design talents.  Even though his debut collection was shown in 2008 at London Fashion Week, the menswear designer’s first collection for women – launched in AW11 – only came to fruition because of request from fans and stockists.

Needless to say, that was an overwhelming success, and the rest is history. J.W. Anderson recently showed his SS13 line at London Fashion Week, and celebrity fans include Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldorf and more.

According to the British designer, accessibility is what really sums up this collection.

“I have worked on this collection with my sister in mind, because I wanted it to be accessible. I feel like we are at a time where we want a fanfare; something fun, accessible and easy. I approached it in the same way I do all my collections. It was unique and has some really iconic pieces. I wanted it to be the idea of what a J.W. Anderson store could be,” he told to Vogue UK.

We’re guessing the J.W. Anderson store will be a bundle of fun, because the collaboration also includes adorable knick-knacks like disposable cameras, stationery, iPad cases, lollipops and collar pins, which unfortunately won’t be available in Singapore.

What will be available here however, are most of the apparel; all of the lovable printed pieces will be here (Yes, turtle print, we’re looking at you), but some of the basic shirts and sweaters will sadly not be brought in.
Take a look below at our favourite pieces from the JW Anderson x Topshop line and let us know which ones you’ll be making a beeline for on Sunday.

Prices for the 32-piece collection will retail from $69 to $299, and will be available in Topshop ION and Knightsbridge stores at 1pm on September 30.

A J.W. Anderson x Topshop party will be held on September 29 to celebrate the launch of the collection here, and J.W. Anderson himself will be at the fete to mingle with VIP guests and fans.
