HONG KONG – The folks in Europe may have got the first look at the Isabel Marant and H&M collaboration a few weeks ago in Paris with a street party but the folks in Hong Kong also had their own sneak preview of the collection. On November 13, 2013, one day before the Isabel Marant pour H&M collection is released in H&M stores everywhere – including Singapore – a pop-up store opened in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

Parisian chic arrived at Kingston Street. The Paris launch was a walk down a street from ’80s Paris, the Hong Kong popup had it’s own theme. A two-storey shop house was transformed into a rustic desert-themed shopping haven complete with cactus, shaggy rugs and wooden crates doubling as shelves.

Just as the party in Paris had the A-listers out in full attendance, Hong Kong celebrities like model Qi Qi, TVB actor Fred Cheng and actress Josie Ho made their way to the pop-up store to get their first look at, and to touch, the pieces from the much anticipated collection.

Yes, the embellished jacket may be the main star of the collection but we are also loving some of the other equally gorgeous pieces from the collection that are more weather-appropriate for sunny Singapore. The printed peasant blouse is both great with a camisole for the office and over a bikini at the beach.
The tasselled boots are a bohemian dream that will be great with tucked in jeans. However, the more petite shoppers will love to get their hands on the different variations of the Smile sweater – it runs up to a kid’s size 14 which also fits an small adult.
The Isabel Marant pour H&M popup store is at No. 2-4 Kingston Street Causeway Bay Hong Kong from November 13 – 14, 2013.
The Isabel Marant pour H&M collection will be available tomorrow November 14, 2013 at 8am at the H&M Orchard Building.
