# 3 Sofia Capri

Rossella and Silvana are the women behind Sofia Capri. They translate the sun and teal waters of one of my favourite Italian islands, Capri, into their delectable designs. They were inspired by a chance encounter on the isle and the rich heritage of traditional sandal-making that the landscape holds. Each piece is handcrafted by local artisans whose craft spans three generations and the designs reference the 60s glamazons who graced Capri such as Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot. These Italian-made beauties will add a little of la dolce vita aura to your everyday.

# 5 grey by Orthenhill

I quite literally stumbled upon this incredible local brand, grey by Orthenhill, at its 310Woodland store in Orchard Central. Lured in by all the buttery soft-looking leather in multitudes of colours and finishes on its functional, simple designs, it was love at first sight. A Singapore-founded company, these sandals, which come in matte, patent, metallic and two-tone designs are the perfect, good quality canvases to run around in. I have my eye on the navy blue pair. Brownie points go to the brand for making its designs unisex also, his ‘n’ hers has never looked so chic.
