Fans of Japanese clothing brands rejoice. There is now a one-stop place for you to get your Tokyo fashion fix.

Aptly named Harajuku Street Style, the “pop-up” store – which returns for a second year – is located on the fourth floor of Tangs at Stylespace on 4.

This “pop-up” store will be here for a period of three months and will house over 15 Japanese brands. Eight of these brands – BEAMS, Ray BEAMS, Ciaopanic, Crystal Ball, DAMMY, Ray Cassin, mystic and Wego – making an appearance in Singapore for the first time.

Returning brands include well-loved fashion and accessory brands such as Beauty & Youth United Arrows, coen, Dip Drops, KBF, rosebullet, Osewaya, Urban Research and more.

The “pop-up” store will stay at Stylespace on 4 until the end of the month, after which it will move one floor down to the PlayLab and stay there until January 2.

But that’s not all. This Harajuku Street Style event is just the tip of the iceberg. As this “pop-up” store was created to mark the tie-up between 77th Street and AWCG, a Japanese company that represents Harajuku fashion brands, there are plans to open a Harajuku-styled flagship store in Singapore that will carry up to 150 leading Japanese streetwear brands. This first-of-its-kind store is slated to open in May 2012, but the venue is yet to be confirmed.

Right now, however, fans of the Harajuku fashion style can head on to the Harajuku Street Style facebook page to view vintage photos of the street in 1974, exclusive videos from popular Japanese street style blogger Rei Shito as well as inspirational street fashion photographs.

To really experience the I-just-shopped-in-Tokyo vibe though, there’s no better way to do so than to check out the Harajuku Street Style “pop-up” store at Tangs. At the very least, it will stave off shopping-hunger pangs until your next trip to Tokyo.

Here’s our list of the top three brands you must check out at Harajuku Street Style:

1) Ray BEAMS

Ray BEAMS is the sister label of BEAMS, a menswear casual sportswear label that has been around since 1976. Ray BEAMS then became available in 1984, with its goal of providing chic and trendy basics for women to create their ideal outfit around.

2) Coen

Quintessentially Japanese, Coen’s aesthetic is built around an American prepster in Japan. Coen prides itself on its ‘easy chic’ clothing, with casual but not sloppy basics like cardigans and printed sundresses.

3) Mystic

Bohemian, feminine and girly but understatedly sensuous, the clothes at Mystics are for the most part, full of floral prints, lace, crochet collars and ruffles. Mystic‘s latest collection looks back on childhood for inspiration, with vintage pussybow tops, bib dresses and printed culottes making up just some of the pieces in the collection.

Harajuku Street Style is located on Level Four of Tangs Orchard.
