Finally! Fabulous shoes at fabulous prices from some of the best young fashion designers in the world will now be available in Singapore thanks to Aldo.

If you’re a true shoe lover – as I freely admit I am – you know the pain of wanting a particular pair of shoes only to find that they’re just not available in Singapore, or even via any one of your favourite online shops.

So you can understand my joy when I discovered that Aldo was finally going to be bring in the fabulous “Rise” collaborations of capsule shoes collections between the brand and fashion designers like Preen, JW Anderson, Christian Cota, Mark Fast, Libertine and Cushnie Et Ochs.

Aldo’s purpose behind this programme is to “support, promote and celebrate daring talent in the fashion community”.

Basically Aldo works with the designers to create shoes for their collections, that the brand then produces for retail sale. This enables younger, less-established designers to get great shoes for their shows, but also lets fans of great and interesting shoes actually be able to afford to buy statement shoes.

Which is why I’m so excited that this range is finally available in Singapore. Aldo will be releasing the collections from Preen, JW Anderson, Libertine and Mark Fast via its ION Orchard, Wisma Atria, Raffles City, Vivocity, Paragon and Takashimaya outlets in March.

But you’d better get in early; these fabulous shoes at fabulous prices are certain to be snapped up incredibly quickly.
