All I want for Christmas is a diamond-encrusted watch from Chanel Fine Jewellery.
After all, as the icon herself, Gabrielle Chanel, said: “If I have chosen diamonds, it is because they represent the greatest value in the smallest volume. And my love of things that glitter has inspired me to try and combine elegance and fashion through the medium of jewellery.”
So, if you have a spare couple of hundred thousand dollars lying around – or if you can convince someone special to splurge that amount on you – then feast your eyes on the new Christmas watches from Chanel.
The J12 29mm Baguette-Cut Diamonds watch (pictured right) is a limited edition, with only 12 available around the world. Created from 18K white gold, with a dial in Chanel’s high-tech black ceramic, this watch is set with a total of 743 baguette-cut diamonds – that’s 22.5 carats – and one brilliant cut diamond on the crown.
Chanel’s J12 29mm Diamonds watch (pictured left) also has a 19K white gold body and the high-tech black ceramic face, this time set with 1 carat of 126 brilliant-cut diamonds.
The rest of the watch is embedded with 904 brilliant-cut white diamonds, as well as 12 black brilliant-cut diamonds and an onyx cabochon; all adding up to 12.5 carats. It has a 18K white gold triple-folding buckle and high-precision quartz movement; as does the J12 29mm Brilliant-Cut Diamond watch.
The Chanel Premiere Diamonds watch (pictured below right) is also made of 18K white gold; its case is set with 52 brilliant-cut diamonds and there are another 517 single-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds adorning the whole watch.
These dazzling Chanel watches don’t come cheap, however. The Chanel Premiere Diamonds watch costs $68,700; Chanel’s J12 29mm Diamonds watch is $144,000 and the absolutely stunning J12 29mm Baguette-Cut Diamond watch is a whopping $615,400!
Although these watches are being released specifically for Christmas, the Chanel Premiere Diamonds and the Chanel’s J12 29mm Diamonds watches are currently available in Singapore from Chanel boutiques at Ngee Ann City and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
