Now that we’re in Phase 2, which started on June 19, retail stores in Singapore are finally able to open for business. For us consumers, this means a change to head out and do some “actual” shopping at physical retail stores to relieve our cabin fever.

If you’re looking to update your closet with the latest finds, there’s one place that’s a must to swing by: Scotts Square. Situated in the heart of Orchard Road, the retail haven houses some of the world’s most renowned designer brands and luxury boutiques.

Here are the latest offerings at seven of the hottest brands that we’re putting our money on.

Alexander McQueen

The British fashion house has always been known for its iconic skull motif and studs, even before Sarah Burton took over as its creative director. Naturally, its Prefall ’20 accessories collection includes a buttery leather clutch with the skull motif fashioned as a clasp, as well as a squarish top-handle bag cladded with studs.

Other notable styles available include a white shoulder bag with twisted knot details and a pair of black leather boots with gold hardware.

Alexander McQueen is located at #01-01/02.

Anglomania by Vivienne Westwood

While this British fashion label is known for its outrageous, punk rock designs, the Anglomania by Vivienne Westwood line translates the OTT runway looks to something more subtle for everyday wear. Here, you’ll find sneakers from its collaboration with Vans, leather totes and its iconic tartan print pants.

Anglomania by Vivienne Westwood is located at #01-09.

Christian Louboutin

Apart from its signature red sole, this French shoe label is also known for its fun and cheery footwear. Its latest range, the Super Loubi, draws inspiration from Japanese pop culture – evident from the collage of comic-looking prints on its shoes and bags.

Christian Louboutin is located at #01-16/17.

London-based eyewear label Linda Farrow is the It sunglasses brand loved by the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner – and the brand is stocked at this multi-label boutique. Time to put on a pair and rock your supermodel look, stat.

Established just last year, this local jewellery label was founded by Thomas Chia, the director of Empire Treasures, who’s known to source for the rarest Burmese gemstones from around the world to create the finest jewellery. Its latest collection offers jade and diamond designs that are simply breathtaking.

Founded in 1873, this German luxury jeweller specialises in high-end jewellery that’s modern and minimalistic. Our favourites include the Princess collection, which comprises a timeless diamond pendant necklace, earrings and ring.
