Religion has certainly come a long way since its start in the early 1990s as a niche T-shirt range. In a grunge-dominated era, the British brand’s unique blend of anarchic graphics and commercial attributes found favour with many in the fashion and media industries.

Today, Religion continues its “no fear policy” of experimenting with design techniques, washes and trends to present its signature distressed garments with a rock star edge. Each collection has been influenced by lyrical quotes, musical muses and British heritage to trace the brand’s pursuit of individual style. The innovative design has created a huge celebrity following – Religion A-list fans include British model, Agyness Deyn, Rihanna and Rita Ora.

It’s about time Religion made its way to Singapore shores. Devotees of the label can start counting down to when Religion makes its debut at Isetan Orchard on July 7, 2013. In true Religion style, the retail space has been cordoned off with wooden fences and smacks of modern English style.

Shoppers will be able to put together different outfit variations with the innovative automatic Mix and Match service – spinning rails that allow you to match tops and bottoms without taking them off the rail. Besides its signature statement T-shirts, shoppers can look forward to a comprehensive selection of Religion apparel from patterned maxi dresses, grungy backpacks and edgy jewellery.

Religion will open at Level 1, Isetan Orchard on July 7, 2013. Prices range from $90 to $360.
