Whenever I pick up a piece of clothing from the racks, the first question that pops into my mind is usually, “Can I wear this to work?”.

I find myself constantly looking for office appropriate outfits to purchase because (a) I spend the majority of my waking hours there and (b) it’s a place where I need to look presentable in order to gain respect from my colleagues and superiors.

It’s especially challenging in the fashion industry because it’s important to look professional AND stylish at the same time. Thinking about what to wear can sometimes feel like a job in itself!

Of course, this comes as no surprise. A power suit can instantly lift you up and make you look exceptionally polished on days when you need to impress.

Enough said. As long as you keep the hemlines and necklines in line with your office dress code, anything goes. To spice your outfit up, you can play around with the materials (i.e. lace, leather etc.) and add super trendy sneakers or funky flats.
