After a work week of waist-cinching pencil skirts and running in heels, there’s no better feeling than climbing into sweats and slouchy loungewear pieces when the weekend rolls around. However, weekend appointments with friends over coffee or Sunday brunch, whilst more relaxed than a morning business meeting, still require some level of effort (unless you’re looking to experiment with the luxe PJ trend that’s been bubbling)!

Lately, I’ve been favouring the graphic tee look, paired with a glitzy skirt and Converse for some daytime sparkle, or even a relaxed weekend blazer and shorts. T-shirts are wardrobe staples that can add charm and humour for a high-low mashup look. Paired with something a little more glam or tailored, these new designer drops and high street collaborations will have your casual ‘just threw this on’ look down pat.

  1. The perfect white T-shirt

Originally created in pursuit of the very notion of ‘the perfect white T-shirt’, The Row’s version, though highly priced, is the ultimate white tee. For a less eye-watering sum, try Zara’s version for a clean, comfortable cut.

We can’t help but love supporting local, especially when the designs are as tongue-in-cheek as these from Singapore brand Kilobite! From #Bojio and ‘Da bao me home’ slogan T-shirts to their ‘MRT’ees collection, you’ll be laughing as well as living in these.

Borrow from the boys with these loose cut T-shirts in versatile colours such as navy and grey. Aptly named Le Boyfriend by Frame Denim and from the Weekend Maxmara line! The wide capped sleeves on Maxmara’s version add a tailored edge to the silhouette.
