I’m sure many of us remember dressing our dolls in princess-like costumes in our childhood, right? Well, this Singapore student designer has gone a step further — she’d designed and helped to make four life-sized dresses, all inspired by the upcoming Cinderella Disney movie.
One of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts student Erica Devi Handika’s Cinderella-inspired dress designs, which was hand-sewn with Swarovski crystals.
Best of all: You’ll get to see them in person in Singapore too!
Watch the video below to hear the 23 year-old designer explain more about the inspiration behind her work, which was done in collaboration with Disney Studios Singapore and Swarovski.
These dresses inspired by Disney’s Cinderella movie will be shown at 313@Somerset atrium from March 8 to 14, followed by Kallang Wave Mall atrium from March 15 to 29. You can also see the dresses featured as part of the Disney’s Cinderella Fashion Show on March 7, 3pm at 313@Somerset Atrium.
