Raf Simons has teamed up with Adidas.
According to Fashionista, the creative director of Christian Dior has designed a limited edition range of men’s sneakers for the sportswear brand.
The line of fancy footwear is set to debut soon and will hit stores in July.
The collection will include five versions in three colour schemes and is based on “signature Adidas high-end performance and running silhouettes.”
Yesterday, the 45-year-old showed a colourful take on dandy geek chic on the Paris menswear runway.
The classic style was given a contemporary makeover, complete with large collars, cravats and luxurious satin.
His Fall/Winter 13 offering came in bright pops of colour, showing off vibrant pink, blue and yellow collars.
Shoulders were also emphasised and long, coloured horizontal bars on the front joined the shoulders to give the illusion of a retro cape.
Also making up a large part of the show were geeky sweaters, complete with a knitted face motif, sporting question marks in place of hair.
Meanwhile, the designer has also given the fashion world a sneak peak of his Pre-Fall 13 womenswear collection.
