Printemps’ Christmas collaboration with Christian Dior is one of the most “creative” ever.

The French department store will unveil the first of the new images today at its Paris flagship.

The picture sees models Carolyn Murphy and Sui He striking poses on the roof of the shop, which is located on Boulevard Haussmann. They are wearing festive outfits in shades of bright pink and red, with the iconic Eiffel Tower visible behind them. Christmas decorations are featured, adding to the holiday vibe.

“It has been one of the most creative collaborations we have done with brands, and I think it’s really setting the standard of what’s possible between brands and a department store,” Printemps chairman and chief executive officer Paolo de Cesare told WWD. “We wanted to do something that could capture this excitement, this energy and also a bit of this unexpected collaboration and moment that we’re bringing together.”

The two companies lined up some heavy-hitters to work on the collaboration, with Mario Testino taking the photographs and former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld styling them.

Printemps will feature windows boasting Christian Dior creations, which will be launched on November 9. Among the offerings will be puppets dressed in miniature replicas of famous outfits from the fashion house. – COVER MEDIA
