For the Summer 2014 season, the British designer’s label will launch a capsule collection dubbed “Tween,” with clothing tailored to boys aged 8 to 16.

Paul Smith has decided to bridge the gap between its adult collections and its current Paul Smith Junior collections, previously offered for children up to age 10. Exclusively for boys, the Paul Smith Junior Tween capsule collection includes 15 pieces.

“The Paul Smith ‘Tween’ is a curious boy, with a touch of the avant-garde, and dressed in his ochre trousers and a navy baseball jacket, he explores flea markets looking for new music and rare vinyl,” the brand notes in a press release.

This spirit is rendered in the capsule collection through comfortable sweatshirts and T-shirts, as well as trendier pieces such as denim shirts and checkerboard shorts. With its graphic prints and neutral colors like burnt sienna and petrol blue, the collection is sure to appeal to young hipsters.
