The single-storey, 1,300 sq ft unit at Chip Bee Gardens will house the label’s office, atelier and retail space. Apart from enjoying bespoke services, customers can also shop for the label’s ready-to-wear line at the store.

Ms Priscilla Shunmugam, the label’s founder and designer, says: “No matter the digital economy, a physical retail store is still the most powerful manifestation of a brand’s story, products and experience.”

The five-year-old label’s atelier was at Hong Leong Building in Raffles Place for four years.

Prices for the ready-to-wear Cruise 2016 collection start at $399 for a polyester-spandex top with silk crepe lining to $999 for a navy wrapped dress with kimono sleeves. For bespoke pieces, prices go up to $3,883 for a gown, depending on the design and material.
