Why have you decided to join Project M?
I was always interested and curious with the modelling world. Fortunately, I was scouted at Bugis Junction to join Project M 2019. I was thrilled and immediately grabbed this opportunity, in hopes of learning the tricks from aspiring models and industry experts to kickstart my modelling career.
What is your strongest asset as a model?
Adaptability. Due to circumstances in life, I have grown to adapt well in different situations and social groups. This quality stems from my deep curiosity and persistence in life, which I believe will greatly benefit me as a model.
Describe your personal style.
I usually buy basic pieces made from high quality fabrics which usually last for at least 2/3 years. I like to mix and match basics to create a composed and rather minimal, classic look which I feel confident in.
What is one fashion faux pas that makes you cringe?
Revealing butt cheeks. I get really uncomfortable when I see it.

I’m named after a mythical horse.

Why have you decided to join Project M?
I was thinking of trying out modelling as a career or maybe at least part-time so I thought this competition might help kickstart my dreams. I also love (meeting) new people that share the same passion and interest, so I am sure that through this competition, I will be able to forge some meaningful friendships.
What is your strongest asset as a model?
Everyone is different and there is beauty in that.
No one is perfect and people should stop thinking that models should be perfect, or have any form of stereotypes.
I believe that my strong asset is the flaw that I possess. I don’t have the most perfect skin but I believe as a model, I am confident with how I look. Everyone should be confident not matter how they look.
What is your personal style like?
I think my style changes as I grow older (sadly). I used to love stuff with prints as I think that was when it was still a trend. Now, I barely even want any logos on my shirt. I like to go a bit more formal and luxe look, rather than streetwear where I used to wear a lot.
What is one fashion faux pas that makes you cringe?
Bicycle shorts as a fashion statement. I heard through the grapevine that Kim Kardashian has one of those and is trying to make it a thing. Or is it already a thing?
Tell us one fun fact about yourself that no one knows of.
I think I have over 300 over pieces of clothing and about 30 pair of shoes, even though I don’t have a big house. It’s almost enough for me to have a different look everyday.

Why have you decided to join Project M?
After 6 years of my studies and experiences I gained in South Korea, I came back to my homeland (Singapore) to continue doing what I love (being on a stage). Even though I had debuted as a Kpop performer in a dance group and did hosting and modelling, that was only in South Korea and I didn’t have any exposure back in Singapore. Hence, I decided to join Project M.
What is your strongest asset as a model?
Being confident.
What is your personal style like?
It depends on the location and my mood of the day. My usual style is quite original, but at the same time adding uniqueness to it, such as vintage pieces and elements of bohemian and street fashion.
What is one fashion faux pas that makes you cringe?
Overly tight pants.

Why have you decided to join Project M?
Well, I’ve been hearing about Project M since 2 years back. I have witnessed how the finalists has grown during and after the competition by getting in touch with fashion gurus in Singapore’s fashion industry. Hence, I believe that this is a great opportunity for me.
What is your strongest asset as a model?
I would say, being versatile is quite essential. As a model, it’s the best to have a versatile look which you can align to every type of job, from sweet looking commercials to edgy editorials. I think I have that factor in me.
What is your personal style like?
It really boils down to my mood on that day. I like to maintain causal chic most of the time. However, I prefer street style when I’m travelling.
What is one fashion faux pas that makes you cringe?
There was a gown that I wore for a runway show that was filled with crystals. It was heavy and I couldn’t even take a proper step. That was awkward.

My full name that my mom has given me is in five syllables. But, I will always hide the middle two simply because I hate them. And most people do not know this, including my current boyfriend.

Why have you decided to join Project M?
I joined Project M because I am always looking for experiences that can expand my mind and challenge my comfort zone. As someone who has zero experience in fashion and modelling, I think Project M will do just that. I look forward to meeting different minded but positive and ambitious people during this competition, to see what I can bring, and what I can learn [from them].
What is your strongest asset as a model?
Some would say that it’s my height and my physique, and they might be right. Although I do put a lot of effort into my overall health and fitness, I think my appetite for learning, improving and my natural curiosity have always been a stronger catalyst for success through the various challenges I’ve set for myself.
What is your personal style like?
I rarely put style over practicality when it comes to clothing in my daily life. Nevertheless, I do enjoy dressing well for special circumstances, and genuinely appreciate when someone has a genuine style that fits their overall persona without superfluous and ostentatious accessories.
My idea of style doesn’t have a specific brand, price or even look to it — it is about vibe and embracing your current purpose.
What is one fashion faux pas that makes you cringe?
This is one I used to be guilty of as a child, until my father thankfully made the remark that I looked ridiculous. It’s something Germans have the reputation for being guilty of. I am talking about wearing sandals with socks of course. I don’t find it cringey anymore, but I definitely find it funny. The more colourful the socks, the funnier it is.

I can’t promise you that no one knows of this, but despite my height, I am pretty terrible at basketball.

Why have you decided to join Project M?
I found out about this competition while scrolling through Facebook. Previously I’ve had shoots here and there for my friends and really enjoyed it. Plus, with the encouragement of my wife, I thought why not go out there, have fun and enjoy myself?
What is your strongest asset as a model?
I would say most probably my character and personality. I guess those are my greatest assets. I mean I don’t have that height nor body that most models do, so yeah…
What is your personal style like?
My personal style is definitely streetwear. I love the streetwear culture and I like how it looks on me. It’s like my confidence booster. Also, I love to listen to a lot of hip hop music, so I guess it influenced me as well.
What is one fashion faux pas that makes you cringe?
Unironed clothes, unless it’s meant to be, design wise.
