With luxury labels like Giorgio Armani and Gucci introducing fine jewellery lines this year, Milanese fashion powerhouse Prada is not one to rest on its laurels.

For the first time, Prada's collections now gleam with creations made of 18K yellow gold and brilliant cut diamonds ranging from 0.017 to 0.34 carat – depending on the pieces of your choice. If you are a fiend of Prada, or if you just have a soft spot for jewellery – especially dainty ones – then you've just struck gold. Pun intended.

This time, Prada's head designer Miuccia Prada decided to revisit the brand's archives to reboot the most recognisable Prada prints. Remember the quirky Prada Robot Bag collection that every woman and their mother were raving about back when it first surfaced in 2016? What about the brand's novel S/S'11 collection that had all of us going bananas with tropical banana prints that were front and center of that season? We also love how this pair of banana earrings resemble the one that Prada's head designer Miuccia Prada rocked at the S/S'11 show.

Now, they are all back with a vengeance, thanks to this launch that refashions quintessential objects from Prada's past as well as emblematic symbols of its new collections.

Accompanying the bananas and robots are the rebooting of guitars that were first showcased in S/S'11 jewels, roses that were first introduced in leather goods and jewels circa S/S'12, rabbits that are reminiscent of S/S'18's accessories and RTW pieces, and the brand's triangular logo. Together, they relive Prada's history in contemporary yet timeless earrings, bracelets, pendants, and necklaces that provide a fresh interpretation of these playful designs in a classy manner.

Did we also mention that Prada’s fine jewellery is ethically sourced and produced too? Prada's fine jewellery are made of materials from suppliers with Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) certification that promotes responsible practices from the handling of metals and precious stones from extraction to point of sale.

You can now shop the collection at Prada boutiques at ION Orchard and Changi Airport T3, as well as online at prada.com. Prices range from $1,060 to $7,280.
