Casual doesn’t always equate to sloppy (unless it’s t-shirt + fbt shorts + flip flops). Desmond Tan knows how to do the laid-back style smartly. His ensemble, which comprises of a white t-shirt and a pair of striped tailored trousers from Common Suits, a local bespoke menswear label, is simple, yet effortlessly sleek.

We love a man in a tailored three-piece suit. But, we’d prefer one who knows how to break the norm and opts for an offbeat twist. Elvin Ng got rid of the stuffy blazer and styled it up with a mandarin collar leather number. Despite having a motorcycle jacket, the overall outfit retains the dapper attitude.

Let’s be real, there’s only a handful of ways a man can wear a suit. Romeo Tan manages to combat this fashion obstacle by splitting up two different numbers and wearing them together. His look sports a camel plaid blazer and a pair of navy blue trousers that we’re pretty positive, came from two different suits. Best of all, he finished the ensemble with a black t-shirt and a pair of matching kicks. Suave.

We’re mind-blown by how relaxed yet polished Joel Choo’s (an up-and-coming actor who’s the son of TV veteran Zhu Houren) outfit can look at the same time. His #OOTD, which consists of a ’90s-styled printed t-shirt and a pair of sleek grey trousers, is cool, casual and crisp.

Airport fashion can be simple and comfortable sans the drab. Take a look at Xu Bin, where he wore a printed shirt, a pair of black trousers and some sneakers to the airport. It’s easy, but succinctly refined.

This 27-year old sure knows how to colour coordinate his outfit immaculately. Similar to what we’ve mentioned in our guide, James matched similar shades with each other. In this case, it’s the family of blues. He wore a sky blue shirt that’s loosely buttoned (we’re stans of that look) with a pair of navy blue pants. Genius.

A monochromatic suit can never look dowdy. Instead of your usual blacks and navy blues, Qi Yuwu went with one that’s fashioned in taupe. Plus, his jacket is double-breasted — we can’t deny how good he looks in it.

Men love dark colours. But, that’s not always the case with Pierre Png. His overall ensemble is light and airy, which comprises of a white t-shirt, an alabaster short-sleeved shirt and a pair of light grey trousers. It’s amazing how he had kept his ensemble spotless.
