Fann Wong joins husband Christopher Lee and son Zedd as she tosses the yusheng for good fortune during day 1 of CNY with the rest of her family. She wore a chic polka dot dress in black and white — a fail-safe choice for looking classy.

Newlyweds Sheila Sim and Deon Woo (who famously met each other on a dating app) celebrated their first ever CNY together as a married couple after tying the knot in January this year. They were joined by their niece in this uber adorable photo, as Sheila dressed in a festive yellow wrap dress.

The idea of wearing a colour as outlandish as yellow can be intimidating, but we’ve got good news for you: it can look incredibly stylish too. CNY 2018 was a big one for Taiwanese pop star Jolin Tsai as she kicked off the lunar new year performing on stage at the Jiangsu Tv New Year Gala. She wore an off-shoulder plaid dress in yellow for her performance.

This Chinese New Year was Jesseca’s first as a newlywed with her hubby Jeremy Chan. The Malaysian-born actress shared with The Singapore Women’s Weekly that she usually returns to Langkawi to spend the whole Chinese New Year season with her family, but this year, she chose to spend it with her in-laws in Singapore instead before visiting Langkawi on the second day.
