Mugler showed a fun and flirty Spring/Summer 13 line at Paris Fashion Week last night.

Creative director Nicola Formichetti sent his models down the runway to a rap track by Lady Gaga, who he famously styles. Unlike his previous shows the eccentric singer wasn’t on hand to strut her stuff or in the front row, but he still managed to impress.

While many have opted for a monochrome palette, Nicole went for colour. Models wore a variety of beautifully cut dresses, coming in shades of burnt orange, red and blue.

The silhouette was largely tighter at the bottom and voluminous at the top. So one look saw a woman in a mini black wet-look skirt, which was tight around her thighs and boasted tiers. A black top was tucked into it, boasting chiffon sleeves which fluttered as she walked.

Wide shoulders were another big look, at times looking built up and jutting away from models’ arms.

Leather, inverted triangle skirts and bold sweeps of eyeliner in bright colours made for an exciting catwalk display. – COVER MEDIA
