Missoni and Converse are collaborating on a one-of-a-kind shoe.

The labels have been working together for six seasons, and are now introducing their new Converse x Missoni Archive Project.

The project features 20 new shoes, boasting deadstock fabrics from the archive and which are no longer available.

“And if the inventive pairing of design and form didn’t make this collaboration noteworthy enough, Converse enlisted artist Gary Card to create a special display for the shoes,” writes Fashionologie.

The fabrics have been applied to the iconic Pro Leather and Auckland Racer Converse styles.

The collection will be sold at Colette in Paris from Friday, in time for Paris Fashion Week. Missoni – helmed by Angela Missoni – have already debuted their Spring/Summer 13 line in Milan.

The new collection is designed to celebrate the long-standing partnership between the two companies.
