Meadham and Kirchhoff funk up LFWMeadham Kirchhoff wowed the fashion industry with a funky and colourful runway presentation.

The label designed by Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff marked the final day of womenswear at London Fashion Week with a psychedelic fashion extravaganza as models took to the catwalk in dazzling orange, lilac and yellow creations.

From stripes to checks, tassels to lace embroidery and a wild clash of colours and fabrics, the designer duo went all out on the 70s theme with an underlit runway and models strutting their stuff to the Rocky Horror Show soundtrack.

“They are so brilliant because they really follow a theme through and this was truly, all-out disco,” fashion journalist Harriet Quick told vogue.co.uk.

“The thing is that disco originally brought all sorts of subversive groups together through music: different cultures, sexualities, attitudes and this really was just like that with a massive sense of celebration.”
