Marios Schwab designs for the woman who wants “something different”.
The fashion creator has dressed stars such as Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively and has now teamed up with UK retailer Debenhams on a price-friendly collection.
The line includes the slinky silhouettes Marios is famous for and he’s explained who he thinks about when he is working.
“[The Marios Schwab woman] looks out for something different. She’s the woman who wants to wear something to enhance her personality, the woman who wants to stand out,” he told Look magazine.
“I hope I have designed something for each individual woman.”
Although Marios enjoys seeing famous faces parading his creations down the red carpet, he gets just as excited when he spots everyday women in his pieces.
He worked hard to ensure his new line would be wearable for everyone, including floor-length glittery gowns which can be jazzed up with a belt and simple black gowns which hug the figure.
“The collection is strongly inspired by femme fatale and other themes from my main line range, mixed with easy, demure styles,” he explained. “I wanted to take my signature body-con look to a wider audience.” – COVER MEDIA
