Heading to Beijing in the next couple of weeks? You won’t want to miss out on one of the hippest photography exhibits showing right now. About 100 of photographer extraordinaire Mario Testino’s works will be brought together in the Mario Testino: Private View exhibit at the Today Art Museum in Beijing.

A special section of the exhibit will be devoted to the photographs that Testino has shot for Burberry, marking the 15-year collaboration between Mario Testino and Burberry. This Burberry Room includes a video wall that will make use of stills, moving images and sound to heighten the experience.

Burberry’s partnership with Mario Testino is seen in the numerous ad campaigns that he has shot for the brand, including campaigns for Burberry Beauty and Burberry Fragrances. Together, Mario Testino and Burberry have highlighted some of the most promising British talents in recent years like Eddie Redmayne, Emma Watson, Cara Delevingne and Agyness Deyn.

Testino’s most recent work for Burberry is for their Fall Winter 2012 ad campaign featuring Gabriella Wilde.

“Mario and I have worked together, very closely, for many many years. Both his enormous charm and depth of his character shine through all his work. He is a photographer of unequalled talent with the remarkable ability to engage audiences worldwide through his pictures – capturing intimate moments that are globally recognised as era defining images,” says Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey, Testino’s long-time friend.

Only 1,500 signed and numbered copies of the Mario Testino: Private View book – featuring the inimitable Lady Gaga on the cover – are available for purchase at the exhibit.

If you’ve always been a fan of Testino’s work (who isn’t?), you’ll have to check out this exhibition, which will run till June 27 this year.
